“ My husband and I came for dinner and got the Muir’s Inn burger and the steak and ale pie and both were incredible. The young man who was our waiter was very friendly and great to chat with. The atmosphere was very homey. We very much Ed enjoyed our dinner and experience ”
“ A group of 8 of us had Christmas lunch today, and despite it being really busy with every table full of people, the staff were very efficient and really helpful. The food was lovely, and individual diets were catered for without hesitation (in our case, vegan and veggie). A really good place to eat, thank you to the staff. Would definitely recommend ”
“ We stopped in here for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Getting a table was no problem, although it did get busy as we were having our lunch. We were taken to our seats and then ordered. We went for the haggis bon bons, breaded haddock, steak & pie and a sticky toffee pudding to finish. The bon bons were really nice with a nice dressed salad and dipping sauce as an accompaniment. My haddock was nicely cooked with proper chips and "hot" garden peas along with it. The steak pie was loaded with meat, which tasted nice, although some of the pieces of meat were a bit too big and weren't as tender as the smaller pieces, and the ale flavour was very mild. The chips which came with it were excellent and the veg looked and tasted fresh. The sticky toffee pudding was very nice. Overall, it was a good lunch, and at a shade under £80 for two (including two lattes, a tin of Irn Bru and two other soft drinks), the price was on par with similar establishments. The servers were polite, prompt, and well presented. The toilets were clean and tidy. There is a small car park to the rear of the building or on the street if this is full. It's a really nice place to have lunch. ”
